We recently welcomed a new member to the BRUCE project team. Patricia Donaghy has been seconded to the project from the Department of Information Systems and Computing (DISC) at Brunel where she has worked for the past 13 years as a member of the support team.
Patricia’s main role in DISC is to provide staff and students with on-line systems that provide easy access to data (the perfect background for her work with BRUCE!) This involves extracting data from SITS (the Brunel student records system) and then managing this in SQL Server developing interfaces (web and application) to enable reporting / data entry (for academic and administrative staff) and information flows between staff and students.
Patricia will be working with Richard Jones and Dr Stephen Swift to develop the prototype BRUCE tool.
